OPTIGEL-WM

OPTIGEL WM is an economical smectite thickener designed for use in aqueous systems containing little or no binder. OPTIGEL WM yields a highly thixotropic structure which enables thick films to be applied to vertical surfaces at the expense of flow and leveling, making it ideal for applications requiring controlled viscosity and sag resistance. As a specially treated sodium bentonite, OPTIGEL WM can be easily incorporated via high-speed dispersion without the need for an activator. It provides optimized viscosity development when using a pregel. Recommended for low or no resin solids latex systems, OPTIGEL WM is cost effective and improves the application properties of formulations.
