DISPERBYK-182

DISPERBYK 182 is a high molecular weight block copolymer wetting and dispersing additive that provides steric stabilization. As a result of the small particle size of pigments treated with DISPERBYK 182, it delivers high levels of gloss and optimized color strength. Transparency and hiding power are also increased while viscosity is reduced, improving flow characteristics and allowing for higher pigment loading. DISPERBYK 182 has a broad application spectrum and is suited for solvent-borne and aqueous systems, especially for producing economical solvent-borne pigment concentrates alone or in combination with other additives. When used to treat pigments in coating and material formulations, DISPERBYK 182 enhances performance properties like appearance, durability and opacity.
