DISPERBYK-2050

DISPERBYK-2050 is a wetting and dispersing additive particularly suited for solvent-borne systems and pigment concentrates without binders. DISPERBYK-2050 deflocculates pigments through steric stabilization and uniform electrical charge generation. This prevents coflocculation leading to improved color strength, transparency, hiding power and reduced viscosity. Higher pigment loading is possible due to improved flow and reduced flood and float. DISPERBYK-2050 is recommended for production of binder-containing and binder-free pigment concentrates and for direct pigment grinding. It provides benefits such as high gloss, transparency and hiding power critical for applications.
