BYK-UV 3535

BYK UV 3535 is a surface additive that improves leveling and recoatability. It is a modified, silicone-free polyether with a density of 1.11 g/ml and refractive index of 1.476. BYK UV 3535 displays excellent compatibility and causes no haze. It leads to an increase in surface tension and improved surface energy. Associated benefits include enhanced recoatability and intercoat adhesion. BYK UV 3535 also produces an anti-slip effect. Being UV-reactive, it crosslinks and provides long lasting effects without migrating. Suitable for solvent-free, solvent-borne, and aqueous radiation curable systems, BYK UV 3535 is recommended for various applications where it improves leveling and coating properties.
