BYK-302

BYK 302 is a silicone surface additive that provides medium reduction of surface tension and medium increase of slip. It can be used in solvent-free, solvent-borne, and aqueous coating systems and printing inks. BYK 302 improves leveling, gloss and substrate wetting properties. It prevents the formation of Bénard cells and improves anti-blocking properties. As a result, BYK 302 is well-suited for applications in the Advanced Materials industry where these benefits are important. BYK 302 allows for enhanced performance of coatings by improving flow and appearance. It can be incorporated during any stage of production for Advanced Materials, including post-addition.
