DISPERBYK-171

DISPERBYK-171 is a wetting and dispersing additive used to produce pigment concentrates. As a solution of a high molecular weight block copolymer with pigment affinic groups, DISPERBYK-171 deflocculates pigments by means of steric stabilization. This results in improved color strength and reduced viscosity, allowing for higher pigment loading. DISPERBYK-171 prevents floating and flooding, even with complex pigment combinations and difficult colors. It is particularly recommended for producing pigment concentrates, stabilizing pigments. DISPERBYK-171 provides benefits such as small and uniformly distributed pigment particles for Advanced Materials applications requiring optimized optical and mechanical properties.
