BYK UV 3576

BYK UV 3576 is a multi-acrylic functional, modified polydimethylsiloxane additive that improves substrate wetting and leveling without foam stabilization. BYK UV 3576 displays low to moderate reduction in surface tension and enhances substrate wetting. It improves leveling without increasing surface slip. The product does not cause foam to be stabilized and in some systems provides a defoaming effect. As a result of its multiple acrylic functionality BYK UV 3576 crosslinks with radiation curable systems and produces long-lasting effects without migrating. Its recoatability is good in most systems. BYK UV 3576 is suitable for solvent-free, solvent-borne, and aqueous systems. It enhances performance of coatings by improving substrate wetting and leveling.
