OXPET LA-1531-20

OXPET LA-1531-20 is a first intent oxidized petrolatum recommended for use as a rust preventative in industrial applications. It provides excellent rust protection when formulating lubricating oils, greases, hydraulic fluids and various other protective compounds used in industrial equipment. With its non-staining characteristics, OXPET LA-1531-20 is ideally suited for formulations requiring a high level of rust protection. It is compatible with most mineral base oils, white oils and synthetic base stocks used in industrial solutions. The acids present in OXPET LA-1531-20 can be neutralized with bivalent metaloxides, giving end-products of a high molecular weight and wax-like nature with excellent water-resistant and anti-corrosion properties important for industrial equipment and machinery.
