ORAFTI L85

ORAFTI L85 is a food ingredient consisting mainly of oligofructose produced by partial enzymatic hydrolysis from chicory inulin. ORAFTI L85 contains oligosaccharides composed of fructose units linked together by β-(2,1)-linkages, with part of the fructose chains terminated by a glucose unit. The number of fructose and glucose units in ORAFTI L85 ranges mainly between 2 and 8. ORAFTI L85 is suitable for use in the food industry as it provides prebiotic benefits. As a prebiotic, ORAFTI L85 supports the growth of beneficial gut bacteria which can improve digestive health. It also helps support the immune system. ORAFTI L85 is produced in Belgium in compliance with applicable Belgian and European Food Law.
