BYK-1611

BYK-1611 is a VOC-free silicone-containing defoamer that is cost-effective alternative to mineral oil defoamers. BYK-1611 is an emulsion of foam-destroying polysiloxanes, hydrophobic solids that does not contain emulsifying agents or alkylphenol ethoxylates. It is preferably used in dispersion systems within a PVC range of 35-70. BYK-1611 is very versatile and recommended for use in the production and application systems. It is especially effective for replacing mineral oil defoamers within the recommended PVC range. BYK-1611 provides benefits such as improved foam control, cost-effectiveness and is VOC-free making it suitable for various application systems.
