SCONA TPPP 8112 GA is a polypropylene highly functionalized with maleic anhydride that acts as an adhesion promoter and coupling agent. SCONA TPPP 8112 GA improves adhesion of thermoplastics to hard substrates. It can significantly enhance the mechanical properties and reduce water absorption of composites containing natural fibers when used as an additive in polypropylene. SCONA TPPP 8112 GA is recommended for use between 0.8-3% based on the total formulation. It ensures excellent bonding between materials and reinforcement of composites.
