BYK-W 980

BYK W 980 is a wetting and dispersing additive that reduces viscosity and prevents fillers from settling in ambient curing resin systems. BYK W 980 improves the dispersion of all conventional fillers, such as calcium carbonate and aluminum hydroxide. It reduces the viscosity of the filled resin, allowing a higher filling level. In most cases, the settling of fillers during storage and processing is reduced with BYK W 980. BYK W 980 is especially recommended where unsaturated polyester resins as well as acrylic, polyurethane and epoxy resins are used. BYK W 980 provides benefits such as lower viscosity, higher filling levels and improved filler dispersion which results in better performance, lower costs and environmental friendliness in end use applications.
