RHEOBYK-L 1400 VF

RHEOBYK L 1400 VF is a VOC-free associative thickener that generates a Newtonian flow behavior in aqueous systems. As a result of its rheology profile, RHEOBYK L 1400 VF has only a negligible impact on the low shear range and improves application properties. Greater layer thicknesses can be achieved along with an excellent balance between the flow properties and leveling. The additive is liquid and easy to incorporate without pH or temperature adjustments. When combined with other rheology additives, it enables an optimum processability. RHEOBYK L 1400 VF is preferably used in emulsion systems for its ability to efficiently increase viscosity in the high shear range, enabling adjustment of a flat rheology profile across a broad shear range. This supports optimized and consistent application of coatings.
