Extensin is present in the carrot cell wall contains a large amounts of glycoproteins (50-60%) and polysaccharides (40-50%). It also contains more L-Serine than animal collagen. L-Serine has an anti aging and anti wrinkle effect on the skin by increasing the moisture content on the skin surface.
