DESMOPHEN 4028 BD

DESMOPHEN 4028 BD is a polyether polyol suitable for combination with Desmodur products in the formulation of low-solvent elastic coatings, adhesives and sealants. As a pale-colored, low-viscosity liquid, DESMOPHEN 4028 BD can be thinned with solvents such as esters, ketones and aromatics. Only PU grade solvents should be used. Experience has shown that turbidity occurring during cold storage can be eliminated with no adverse effects on quality by heating to approx. 35 °C. DESMOPHEN 4028 BD is sensitive to moisture and should therefore be stored in its sealed original container. When stored properly, the product will remain stable for 6 months after date of shipment. DESMOPHEN 4028 BD is ideal for applications requiring a flexible, durable and weather resistant finish.
