BYK-345

BYK 345 is a silicone surfactant additive that provides strong reduction of surface tension and improves substrate wetting and leveling in aqueous formulations. BYK 345 allows for better penetration and coverage of substrates. It can be used in a variety of aqueous systems including those containing a small proportion of organic co-solvent. BYK 345 provides large decreases in surface tension without increasing surface slip. It minimally stabilizes foam and has no negative impact on subsequent application of coatings. BYK 345 is recommended for use in applications where excellent substrate wetting and flow properties are required.
