LUBRIZOL® 8405A is a very shear stable viscosity modifier for automotive gear oil formulations. It delivers a fluid with higher tier performance and broad approval coverage when formulated with other additives. LUBRIZOL® 8405A improves oxidation stability to maintain cleanliness and improves thickening ability to increase viscosity for gear oils when required. Its shear stability ensures oils stay in grade throughout the drain interval period.
