DISPERBYK-2155

DISPERBYK 2155 is a 100% active substance wetting and dispersing additive that is particularly recommended for the manufacture of pigment concentrates with broad compatibility. As a block copolymer with basic, pigment-affinic groups, DISPERBYK 2155 deflocculates pigments and stabilizes them by means of steric hindrance. This prevents possible coflocculation, leading to increased gloss, color strength, transparency or hiding power, and reduced millbase viscosity. Due to its high solids content, DISPERBYK 2155 is suitable for high-solid systems where it greatly reduces the viscosity of the millbase enabling a higher pigment content in pigment concentrates. DISPERBYK 2155 delivers benefits in applications involving pigments and coatings through deflocculation of pigments and stabilization, resulting in better performance, higher pigment loading and lower viscosity.
