DISPERBYK-2010

DISPERBYK 2010 is a solvent-free wetting and dispersing additive for aqueous systems. It produces particularly economical, binder-free pigment concentrates. DISPERBYK 2010 provides a strong reduction in the millbase viscosity and prevents the reflocculation of the pigments through steric stabilization and electrostatic repulsion. Deflocculated pigments provide high color strength development, good transparency or hiding power, and increase in gloss. It also has a positive influence on leveling and a relatively hydrophobic structure to minimize the influence on the water resistance of the dry applications. DISPERBYK 2010 is particularly recommended for producing binder-free, stable pigment concentrates for non-floating aqueous applications. Its benefits include stable pigment dispersion without binders, amines or co-solvents which results in uniform pigment distribution and long-term color consistency in various applications.
