BYK-W 975

BYK W 975 is a wetting and dispersing additive that stabilizes organic and inorganic pigments in pigment pastes for closed mold applications. BYK W 975 improves the pigment wetting and shortens the dispersion time. It prevents flocculation of the pigments and therefore stabilizes the color strength and tone of the pigment pastes. BYK W 975 generates a uniform electrical charge in all the pigment particles, thereby preventing co-flocculation of particles that are not equally charged. As a result of its high molecular weight, BYK W 975 has no negative influence on the material properties. BYK W 975 is recommended for applications where uniform pigment dispersion and color consistency is required.
